In the late Qing Dynasty, Kang was forced to lose his power, and wanted to use the Eastern thinking to harm the corruption of our country’s civilization, so he was the energy of “Confucius’s reform” and to do the things of changing the law. The little words about “reform” he discussed are the most detailed descriptions of “Reform of Confucius”.

 

The compilation of Kang Nanhai’s book “A Study of Confucius’ Reform” has made his door prosperous. “The same town Chen Qianqiu, Rongji and Cao Tai, were elegant and talented, beautiful, good at learning and meditation, and editing and studying and studying.” [2]Secretary of Self-Edited Years, Nanhai began to write “A Study on the Reform of Confucius” in the 12th year of Guangcheng (1886). In 1920 and 1923, they were republished in Beijing and Shanghai respectively.

 

This is the purpose of the book. The preface says:

If the sage’s intention is deep and profound, and broad. …The two kings, ministers and Confucian scholars respect the system of “Year” and are indiscriminate and domineering the law, but the scriptures have not been fully implemented. … Not only did they not understand the peace, but they also wanted the Han people to be chaotic and unrequited, but the Chinese people’s civilians were consumed by the violent rule of the tyrant and the barbarians for two thousand years. How sad! …A hundred and ten thousand men are approaching, looking at the bonnets, seeking clarity, and cherishing oneself, but never knowing the completeness of Confucius’ six-member, peace of governance, and great harmony. Sad husband! [3]

 

The Gongyang “The Ram” establishes the law of chaos, promoting peace and inheriting peace for the three generations. This is why Confucius’s way is broad. However, for more than two thousand years, from Han to Song Dynasty, the court and Confucian scholars were only involved in Confucius’s rebellious methods, “blind by the rebellious words, but did not know how to inherit the meaning of common deeds”, which led to our country’s “not seeing the rule of Chengping early and the joy of common deeds.” [4]It can be seen that this is the great purpose of the book, which is actually invented that Confucius inherited the same system.
